Heat Wave Ahead
- If you have an exam this week, check the wall by the security desk at the main entrance, or the window of the main office for room changes. All tests have been moved to air conditioned rooms.
- Check email for any other schedule changes due to heat.
- Hydrate and stay cool!!!
Attention: Senior Walk-Through
Just a final reminder that Monday, June 23rd is a HUGE day!! At 9:00 a.m., we are meeting at The Rock for the Senior Walk-Through! If you have not responded yet and want to come, please complete this RSVP form. We need to give the number to the bus company TODAY!!
Parents and families, please feel free to cheer on our soon-to-be grads at any of the schools. Remember that parking will be limited!! Carpool if possible!
Here is our route and some estimated timing:
Leaving HS campus around 9:30 a.m. Boston Post Road to Harrison Ave to DW.
Depart DW at about 10:00-10:10 a.m. Keeler Ave to Boston Post Road to Carroll Ave and FEB.
Depart FEB around 10:40 a.m. or so to get back to HS.
Walk through MS and head to the Senior Send-Off at Oakland Beach! Remember: free parking is limited, so again, CARPOOL!!

Prom Night
On Wednesday, June 18th, over 300 students gathered at the Greentree for our annual prom. Special thanks to the Junior Class Officers, pictured above--Davey Ryan, George Santa, Emma Cunningham, Logan Williams and Thomas McNiff--and advisor, Mrs. Milo, for planning Garden Of Lights. It was a stunning event, beautiful in every detail! Students and staff danced the night away. Prom album. Video.
Senator Shelley Mayer Youth Leadership Awards
On Monday, June 16th, Senator Mayer honored the academic achievements and community work of students from several schools in our area. Rye Neck sophomores Izel Ortiz and Maddie Rubenstein and juniors Ashley Hernandez and Noah Siegel were honored at the event, which gave students a chance to speak about their work and engage in a round table discussion. BOCES Honors Kyle Snow
Congratulations to Kyle Snow! On Thursday, June 12th at the annual BOCES Commencement Exercises, Kyle received the prestigious William P. Schliemann Scholarship. Kyle was honored for his achievement, motivation and enthusiasm in the electrical construction program. He will be attending SUNY Morrisville in the fall and will be playing football and running track! We are so proud of you Kyle!
Athletics
Congratulations to the Track & Field Team on a great NY State Championship Meet! The girls 4x100 --Dhara Eboli, Carys McGrory, Nina Vienne, Ayla Felenstein--placed 8th in Class C with a new school record time of 50.21! The boys 4x100--Samai Phillip, Willem van Roijen, Jackson Simon, Matt Rubin-- also broke our school record with a time of 43.48 and placed 4th on the podium for Class C!!
Rowing Success! Congratulations to seniors Katie Lawhon and Tara O'Reilly whose boat won silver at US Rowing's Youth National Championships on Sunday, June 15th. Senior Mark DiMaggio's boat came in fifth and junior Isaac Rabinowitz's boat took gold! Congratulations on another banner year!!
Softball Celebration! Coaches Spedafino and Calvini celebrate with the entire team and their families! Another successful year in the books!
Gentle Reminder . . . Cell Phone Discussion
There will be a meeting for parents on Monday, June 23rd at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the law and our draft plan for the fall. If you would like to attend, please RSVP by June 21st. We will have more opportunities to meet in the fall.

Seniors:
- Please update the “college you are attending” on Naviance. Your counselor will automatically send your final transcript to that school during the first week of July.
