Keyboarding Class - Josh Devors
Yesterday, OHS students took a break from the keyboarding lessons to accept a "new" challenge: Type some complete sentences on a ninety-year-old typewriter with minimal mistakes.
Needless to say, they gained much appreciation for modern word processors like Microsoft Word and Google Docs.

Update For Mrs. Brant - Business Concepts
The students completed a project in Business Concepts where they were to create something out of a bandana then create an ad to market it. The project challenges them to think outside the box and be creative. One student, Rycelyn Cunningham, took her project a step further and made her project come to life. She went home and made her bandana pants. The first picture is Rycelyn's marketing piece of her product and the 2nd picture is of her wearing them to school
Update from Spanish - Lauren Gherna
The Spanish classes are diving into the year at full-force! Our new curriculum takes a new approach to learning a language, in which a foreign language is taught the same way a first language is taught. Students see and hear the language at a level they can understand with their prior knowledge of language. Students have enjoyed creating their own stories, interpreting narrations of videos, and listening to new songs!

I love spending time with my family, which has changed throughout the years now that my daughters are both grown. We love just hanging out at home, going out to eat, riding the motorcycle, and traveling. My faith is very important to me and grows stronger with each new step in life.
