School is back in session! As summer comes to an end we look back on the many activities, memories, and achievements Blackwell FFA has accomplished! In the month of June a few members attended Area 2 Leadership Camp at Howard College in Big Spring, Texas. There they learned many leadership and teamwork skills they can bring back to our local chapter. In the month of July, others had the opportunity to be apart of the 90th annual Texas FFA State Convention. Throughout the week they sat in on keynote speakers, award ceremonies, state officer retiring addresses, and had the honor of being voting delegates during important business sessions.

A new Quality Counts program is coming out. Everyone must recertify to be involved in livestock showing! Visit https://agrilife.org/qualitycounts/ to receive your training!
