Growing Together @ STL

Games club is more than just games club! It's a space that is inspiring much creativity! This week once of our STL students came to games club to write the lyrics for a song! It's also so great to see students from different grade levels and classes playing together! There's so much great energy! Thank you to those who have donated games to make it possible!

A special thank you to all parents who took time to meet with teachers and review learning so far this year! Parent participation is a vital part of children's success, and we are blessed to walk this journey with you and your family throughout your years at St. Luke!

Bless our amazing Mrs. Scoggins for organizing an awesome Book Fair this year, and spending your evenings opening up your doors for the love of literacy! Thank you parents for your support as profits from the book fair go directly into supporting many new and exciting resources for children, as well as the flexibility to bring in more copies of the books we just can't keep on the shelves! Thanks so much for your continued support!

There will be no Seven Sacred Teaching during the month of April as we continue our Lenten journey, prepare ourselves for Holy Week and celebrate Easter.

As we start our Games Club up again, a renewed call for Chess Boards is coming from the kids! There are more of them who want to learn to play, and challenge each other.

If you have a chess game that is gathering dust....we will put it to good use!

Your support made our book fair a huge success! We are able to buy over $800 of new books from the fair! Amazing!!

Charlie in gr 4 was the first to guess closest in the “guess how many” contest, and Adeline in gr 5/6 got second place.

There were 444 items in the jar and they both guessed 432. Very close!!

Exciting that news about St. Luke Catholic Schools is coming to a home near you...and in Tofield!

The Parent Association is excited to host a spring dance on Friday, April 25th.

We will be holding a vote with the students to determine the theme after spring break. We will share more details soon!

South Cooking Lake Greenhouse Gift Certificate Fundraiser

Spring is here, and what better way to brighten up your space than with beautiful plants from South Cooking Lake Greenhouses? We are excited to announce that South Cooking Lake Greenhouses is once again supporting our school with their Spring Fundraiser. A portion of all gift certificates purchased will directly benefit St. Luke Catholic School, supporting student enrichment programs!

This fundraiser is a great way to beautify your home and garden, or to purchase the perfect gift for Mother’s Day, all while supporting both our students and a beloved local greenhouse.

How to Purchase / Things to Know:

• Gift certificates are sold in $25 denominations and do not expire.

• Ordering will open on April 1st - the ordering link will be available in the April newsletter

• Last day to purchase gift certificates is June 13th, 2025.

South Cooking Lake Greenhouses opens for the season on April 24th, 2025!
