Westfield High School Brings Narnia to Life TONIGHT!
Tonight is opening night for the Westfield High School theatre department's production of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. The student-led cast and crew have been working tirelessly since February to immerse the audience in the magical world of Narnia.
The crew tackled some unique design challenges this season, from building stone archways that span the entire stage, to creating functional costumes for creatures like lions and centaurs. Meanwhile, the cast has been hard at work embodying the mystical creatures from C.S. Lewis' imagination.
Step through the wardrobe and experience the magic for yourself at tonight’s opening performance or catch one of the upcoming show dates. We hope to see you there!

Granting Wishes!
Earlier this year, Shamrock Springs teacher Darcy Kelley sponsored a school-wide fundraiser for Make-A-Wish, a program that grants wishes to children with critical illnesses. Our Shamrocks came together and raised over $6,000 which was enough to be paired with a Wish Kid, Mason!
The entire school came together to celebrate Mason, decking out in blue and hosting a parade and pep rally. Westfield High School teacher and Make-A-Wish board member Tracy Miller also participated, sharing her daughter's own Make-A-Wish experience. Today, Mrs. Miller's daughter is a teacher at Westfield Intermediate School!
Mason and his brother both have fibromyalgia, a disease without a cure. His brother’s wish was granted last year with a Siberian husky puppy, and now it’s Mason’s turn! With a passion for marine biology, Mason will soon visit the Georgia Sea Turtle Center, Tybee Island Marine Science Center, and Savannah State University’s Biology Department. Ms. Kelley plans to continue the fundraiser next year with the hope of being paired with another Wish Kid.
