Normandy Park School
NPS Summer Update- 8/21/2024
As a school, we are excited to welcome students back on Tuesday, September 3rd. The school looks great! I would like to thank our building foreman, Mr. Mike Shatel and his custodial team for their excellent work in preparing the school building for the new year!
This year, we will continue to build upon the strong mission and vision of our school and community. By working together, we will ensure students are provided instruction and support to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. I will begin sending my weekly newsletters in September. As in past years, newsletters will go out every Sunday.
Classroom/teacher assignments and bus information will be available on the parent portal on Friday, August 23rd, 2024. Morris School District will post classroom schedules/assignments and busing information on the parent portal.
Classroom/teacher assignments and bus information will also be mailed home directly from Normandy Park School.
For the most up to date busing information, please check the parent portal a day or two before school starts to ensure the most up to date bus pickup and drop off times. There may be adjustments over the next few weeks that will cause the bus pickup and drop off times to shift slightly. If you need a babysitter pick-up/drop-off for busing that's different from your home address, please submit the childcare arrangement form in the Power School portal.
Please know that I am here to help and support in any way that I can. Feel free to reach out to me directly at christopher.miller@msdk12.net. I will continue to keep the community posted on updates throughout the summer. I will be in the office, so please feel free to contact me via e-mail or phone.
Sincerely,
Christopher Miller
Principal of Normandy Park School
