LaLiberte Weekly Update

Dear Families:

May has arrived and we've had wonderful weather! Our students in 4th grade were able to enjoy a field trip to the Attleboro YMCA to participate in a team-building and respect program using their high-ropes course. The experience was fantastic!

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Mr. James Yaitanes and the team at Beantown Home Improvements for donating their time and organizing donations of materials and work towards the Spring clean up of LaLiberte's front gardens, cleaning our sign and building and for making our crosswalk more visible!! Donations included services and materials from PVC Solutions, JRH Power Wash and Property Services and D & D Mulch & Landscape INC. Our students all received some wildflowers to plant and our teachers enjoyed a gift as well! Thank you for caring for our schools!!

A reminder that we will be taking the math MCAS the week of May 12. Students are allowed to bring some candy, mints or gum with them to have during testing, but PLEASE keep this to just a few pieces! We always encourage families to help our students get a good night's rest and have a good breakfast so they are fueled up for the assessments!

Our MCAS dates are:

• May 12 and 13 Gr. 3 Math
• May 14 and 15 Gr. 4 Math
