Leopard Tales: January 12th

Good afternoon, Lowes Island Leopards!

I hope that you are enjoying your weekend and staying warm! It was so nice to have our leopards back in the building on Friday! Seeing their excitement and their smiling faces warmed my heart!

We have 2 weeks left in the 2nd quarter and a lot of content to cover! Please be sure to prioritze student attendance.

This week, we hope you will join us on Thursday night at Seneca RIdge for our cluster multicultural night! The event begins at 6:00. If you are participating in our fashion show, please arrive and meet in the gym by 5:45pm as we kick off at 6:00.

The Kids Heart Challenge is a service-learning fundraising program that provides lessons, tools, and activities to support both mental and physical well-being to students, families, and staff. You and your family can learn the steps of hands-only CPR and raise funds to help kids with special hearts. We will have a kick off assembly at the end of the month.

🚲 Walking Wednesday 1/15 - Remember to walk, bike, trike or scooter your way to school and your child can enter the drawing to win a gift card! A table will be set up right inside the main entrance for walkers/cyclists to fill out the raffle ticket.

Join us for Spirit Night at Five Guys - Mark your calendars for Wednesday, January 22nd from 5 PM to 9 PM and come support our PTO while enjoying a delicious meal! A portion of the proceeds will help raise funds for our school. See you there!

📆 PTO General Meeting 1/23rd - Our first meeting of the year is scheduled for January 23rd. This is a great opportunity to connect, share ideas, and stay informed about our initiatives.
