Kindergarten Learning
K Literacy
This week in literacy/Fundations we will be working on letter s and d. The sound /d/ as in "dog" and /s/ as in snake. Students will work on identifying and using the letter sounds corresponding with the letter name. See if your student can identify all the letter sounds and letters we have gone over so far!
K Math
Math:
We will finish Topic 12 this week. We are going to be covering 12.5 and 12.6 activities. In these activities we will be talking 3D shapes and finding shapes in our environment. We will also be taking the Topic 12 Assessment. Click here for Homework Activities!
Homework for Parents/GUardians: Have your child practice writing numbers 0-5. Maybe try writing it in whipped cream or in a plate of rice before writing it on paper! Try laying on your belly, on the floor, and write a number as many times as you can before a one minute timer goes off. Try writing numbers in order, maybe counting down order, or even with a fun marker or crayon!
