Our Week at Reutter School
Week of November 18, 2024
Principal's Message
Reutter School Families:
I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you—Caroline L. Reutter School has been officially recognized as a No Place for Hate school by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL)!
This prestigious designation acknowledges our school’s commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students and staff. Through a combination of character education, community-building activities, and school-wide initiatives, we have worked collaboratively to promote kindness, understanding, and acceptance of differences within our school community.
Earning the No Place for Hate designation is an accomplishment, reflecting the efforts of our students, staff, and families. Together, we have shown that Reutter School is a place where everyone belongs, and respect is a core value.
As we continue our journey as a No Place for Hate school, we remain dedicated to providing opportunities for meaningful dialogue, education, and action that empower our students to stand up against bias, bullying, and discrimination.
Additionally, you should have received communication from your child's major subject teachers regarding the upcoming fall parent-teacher conferences. If you have not yet heard from them, please do not hesitate to reach out directly to any teacher you wish to meet with. Our Related Arts Teachers have also scheduled a virtual conference evening for November 26, providing further opportunities for productive family-teacher connections.
Warm regards,
Mr. Theodore Peters
Principal

Governor Educator of the Year program (GEOY) 24-25
The New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) strives to recognize educators who have gone above and beyond in their service to New Jersey’s students. Now, more than ever is the time to celebrate New Jersey’s outstanding educators. Therefore, Franklin Township Schools will participate in the Governor’s Educator of the Year (GEOY) program to honor the hardworking teachers and educational services professionals for their dedication to students and the profession. This program promotes a culture that celebrates excellence and brings public attention to the work of outstanding educators.
As such, do you know a teacher OR educational services professional who is dedicated, inspiring, and making a difference? As outlined through the Governor's Educator of the Year program, the Township of Franklin Public School District would like to recognize one teacher from each school, as well as one educational service professional from the district, as a recipient of a 2024-2025 "Educator of the Year" award.
Please take a moment to fill out your Governor’s Educator of the Year recommendation using the link below. The response form will be open from 10/28/24 to 11/15/24.
