Hello! First, I would like to introduce myself.
My name is Luke Larmee and I am the new principal of Hoffman School! This will be my 19th year in education and my 8th as a school administrator. I started as a classroom teacher in Evanston School District 65 and have held several roles in my first 18 years. My goal is always to create a space where everyone (staff and students) feels safe, included, and seen.
I started at Hoffman on August 1st and have spent that time working with our amazing staff to get everything prepared for students to start on Thursday! I am looking forward to meeting all of your children and supporting their academic and SEL needs.
Tomorrow, (Wednesday, 8/21) we will be hosting a Family Meet and Greet from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. If you are free, please come by Hoffman so that your student(s) can meet their teacher and see their classroom!
I hope to use this newsletter to keep families up in the loop about all the great things that are happening at Hoffman this year!
