π STATE BOUND: AHS Debate Students Headed to Austin
Big congratulations to Argyle High School students Liyah Cha and Jack Dillon! They are headed to the UIL Congressional Debate State Competition in January in Austin! Liyah placed first with the highest place ranking from all three judges in the finals and Jack placed third with high marks.
Team members included: Liyah Cha, Jack Dillon, Chitrita Logesh, Krithika Ganti, Adhishri Dingokar and Alternates: Sirine El Attar and Kevin Cantrell
District Celebrates Veterans Day!!
This week Argyle ISD celebrated Veterans Day across the district! The campuses all prepared special recognitions and ceremonies that made this a very special day for Veterans in our community and for their families.
Be sure to check out the district social media accounts as we celebrated our district staff members who have served in the military. We are very grateful for them and their service to our country. We also captured all the special moments on the campuses.

What a fun afternoon we had on Wednesday for National Signing Day at Argyle High School!
Family, friends, coaches, teachers and community members were on hand at AHS as 14 student-athletes signed scholarships with colleges and universities in seven different sports.

AMS Theatre's Into The Wood, Jr. Now Showing!
This week the Argyle Middle School Theatre Program opened its fall musical, Into the Woods, Jr., and two more shows are available on Saturday!
The performance will be held Saturday at AMS at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Into the Woods, Jr. is a fractured fairytale that combines many beloved fairytale characters into one story as they all venture "into the woods" for their own reasons.
Tickets are $10 and are now available through Hometown Tickets. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. Please come out and support these students and all of their hard work.

Support Argyle ISD Students Through Angel Tree Program
The Argyle ISD Angel Tree Program is underway! Help make a childβs holiday special by adopting an angel from right here in our community of Argyle ISD.
Gift drop-off will be on Wednesday, December 4, from 4 to 7 PM at the Sixth Grade Center. Please bring new, unwrapped gifts. All angels are students currently attending Argyle ISD. Thank you for spreading joy this holiday season!

Argyle ISD PD Announces HAT DAY! November 22
The Argyle ISD Police Department is excited to partner with your PTA to announce a special Hat Day on Friday, Nov. 22! This is a fun opportunity for students to wear their favorite school appropriate hats to school and show some unique style, all while supporting a great cause.
To participate, each student needs to donate $1 on Nov. 22. All proceeds will go towards the 2nd Annual Donut Dash 4 Kids Toy Drive, benefiting the Cross Timbers Hope Center, happening on Saturday, Dec. 14 at Unity Park between 9-10:30 a.m. This community event will be a fun-filled day for our students, families, and staff, so let's come together to make it memorable!
Thank you for your support, and we can't wait to see the creative hats our students will wear. Letβs make Hat Day a success for a fantastic cause!

School Board Meeting Monday, Nov. 18
The Argyle ISD Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting on Monday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. Meetings are held at the Argyle ISD Dr. Telena L. Wright Administration Building, located at 6701 Canyon Falls Drive in Flower Mound.
The meeting is open to the public and time is allotted for public comment. The meeting will include an information item that will be presented to Trustees regarding middle school and high school zoning.
Varsity Football Scores Big for Thanksgiving Food Drive!
A huge shoutout to the Eagle Varsity Football team for coming together to support the Argyle ISD Thanksgiving Food Drive! Their teamwork and generosity helped fill 20 bags of food for families in need. Thank you, Eagles, for making a difference and showing the true spirit of giving!
Collaborate & Listen! New AISD Committee Kicks Off!
The Collaborative Visioning Committee kicked off this week! We are very grateful to all those who have volunteered to serve.
The committee will gain insights through a series of presentations by District personnel and administrators, covering a range of topics aligned with our priority areas. The CVC includes parents, staff and students. Using this information, the committee will craft a Graduate Profile that reflects our shared goals for every Argyle ISD student, establishing priorities in four key areas:
- Student Learning
- Student Experience
- Resource Stewardship
- Community Engagement

AHS STUCO Hosting Blood Drive - Nov. 18
Argyle Student Council is hosting a Blood Drive on Monday, Nov. 18. Seniors can earn a cord to wear at graduation for donating twice during the 2024-2025 school year.
If you are 16 years old, you can donate too! You will need to pick up the Parent Donor Permission Form from the sign up table or the front office.

π Lady Eagles Vying For State Semifinal Berth!!
The Argyle Lady Eagles' volleyball team headed west this morning to battle Lubbock Cooper in the Class 5A Division II Region Finals. The game will be played at 6:30 p.m. at Clyde High School.
The winner will earn a berth to the STATE SEMIFINALS next week against the winner of Lovejoy-Frisco Wakeland.
Argyle is coming off a sweep of Abilene Wylie earlier this week in the region semifinals.

π Eagles Host Playoff Battle vs. Frisco Emerson!
The Argyle Eagles (9-1) football team concluded the regular season with a district championship and are in the playoffs for the 21st consecutive season! Argyle is coming off a 37-6 victory against The Colony last week at Eagle Stadium as the Eagles completed an undefeated district season (8-0). Argyle has won 9 consecutive games.
Argyle battles Frisco Emerson (7-3) in the Class 5A Division II Bi-District playoffs. Frisco Emerson finished fourth in District 4-5A. Last year Argyle defeated Frisco Emerson in a district shootout at Eagle Stadium 41-34.
