All Speedway Schools will be closed for Spring Break from Friday, March 21st - Monday, March 31st.

School resumes on Tuesday, April 1st!

Speedway Police Department is looking for dedicated Crossing Guard candidates for the 2025-2026 school year, with the potential of filling any vacancies that occur during the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This is a great opportunity to help keep our students safe while making a positive impact on the community.

Position Details:

- Help ensure the safety of students and families at crosswalks

- 2025-2026 School Year/possible openings in 2024-2025 year

- Monday - Friday when school is in session

- 7:30 am - 8:00 am and 2:50 pm - 3:15 pm

- $333 per month to include summers when school is not in session and breaks (spring, fall, and winter)

The Jazz Band received a GOLD rating at the ISSMA Jazz Contest this last weekend! We also had 3 Outstanding Soloist Award winners - Samuel Goodman, Erin Toepp, & Alex Ruelas Luz!

All Speedway Elementary Schools will be hosting a spring kindergarten round-up for children who will be entering kindergarten in the fall of 2024.

Tuesday, April 22nd

5:30 pm

At your elementary school.

Children must be at least 5 years old on or before August 1, 2025 to be eligible.

This is an opportunity for the parent and child to visit the school, pre-register for fall 2025 and receive information about our kindergarten program. If you are unable to attend, please contact your elementary school for registration information.

Registration Requirements

· Original Birth Certificate

· Immunization Records

· Lease or Mortgage (parent(s)/guardian AND child must be on the lease contract)

· Photo ID from parent enrolling student

To register, the student must be 5 years old on or before August 1, 2025.
