Tutoring is available in English, Spanish, or Mandarin, Monday to Friday, 4-8pm, starting NOW! You can book a session at the link below up to 24 hours in advance. Booking a session is simple; click on this video link to see how to sign up. Once you've submitted the form, you will receive an email confirmation with the Google meeting link for the session. Please note: student DOE emails are not compatible for session scheduling.

On Wednesday, the DOE is conducting a test of our readiness to shift to remote learning for potential virtual days due to snow or other inclement weather. We still have in-person school on Wednesday, but we ask that all students join the "MS 50 Virtual School" Google Classroom and, after school on Wednesday, complete the short assignment that will be posted there for homework. Students will need to log in using their @nycstudents.net email account to access this Google Classroom assignment.

Today our students participated in a mock election for President! This is a culmination of more than a week of studying about the electoral process, the positions of the candidates and political parties, and more. Make sure to ask your students what they think about the future of our country!

Please join us for our November SLT and PTA meetings this week Thursday! The SLT meeting is virtual at 4:00PM at ms50.org/slt and the PTA meeting will take place in person at 6:00PM.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are next week Thursday from 1-3PM in the afternoon and 5-8PM in the evening. All parent-teacher conferences will once again be held remotely in accordance with the NYCPS policy. Information on how to meet with your child's teachers will be shared in a special edition of our newsletter next week Tuesday.
