100th Anniversary Gala to raise funds for student scholarships
If you thought the concert and homecoming weekend was fun, wait until you see what we have planned next! On Saturday, February 8, Leyden hosts its 100th Anniversary Gala at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. The special evening with friends includes a formal dinner, dancing, silent and live auctions and other surprise treats with all proceeds supporting scholarships for current and future Leyden students. Tickets cost $100 person. We kindly ask that those groups who want to be seated together for dinner, purchase their tickets under one name.
Consider this the ultimate reunion! Get your classmates together and buy a table :)

Special drone show in honor of 100 years
After the varsity football game against Willowbrook on October 25, Leyden will host a drone show spectacular to celebrate its 100th anniversary! All football game spectators are invited to remain in the stands immediately after the game to enjoy this once in a lifetime experience.
Alumni artists: feature your work
To coincide with Leyden's 100th Anniversary, alumni are invited to show one piece of artwork in the Winter Art Show alongside current art students. This event is an opportunity for current and former students to exhibit, foster career connections, and celebrate the long legacy of arts at Leyden. This event will take place December 9-12. Deadline to submit artwork is November 26. (Painting by Tom Lynch, Class of 1968.)

Traveling exhibit features Leyden's history
If you were at the homecoming game, you might have visited the exhibit under the tents - and if you didn't get a chance, you still can experience the historical pieces! Leyden: Making History, a traveling exhibit featuring the 100-year history of the district will travel to local community libraries throughout the 2024-25 school year. Celebrate 100 years of Leyden Pride by learning more about the traditions, innovations, and achievements that create the legacy. From the beginning as "Leyden," to the addition of "West," and the combining of athletic teams, colors and mascots...this is Leyden Pride!
The exhibit is open to the public during the organization's business hours.
