Focus On Education
Friday, October 18, 2024
Our Brickies have worked hard in the days leading up to Fall Break, and we hope they’re able to use these upcoming days off to relax and recharge! We look forward to welcoming everyone back after the break, ready to tackle the rest of the semester with renewed energy and focus!
Check out this week’s Focus on Education to see what we were up to this week in the School City of Hobart, and take a look at what’s coming up!
This Brickie Experience episode is impactful.
60 Minutes was recently here filming for an upcoming episode. Anderson Cooper was the correspondent! He was fantastic with interviewing our students and putting them at ease before the filming took place.
As we were waiting for the film crew to make some adjustments, Dr. Buffington thanked him for how he talked with the students about what schools he went to and his career pathway. She told him that she should have done a podcast with him. Out of nowhere, Anderson Cooper says, “Let’s do it. How long to set it up?” Chris King, the Director of Technology, says, “One minute!” The next thing we all knew… an impromptu interview with Anderson Cooper on The Brickie Experience is in the books! Enjoy!
