GivingTuesday Recap
Thank you to everyone who supported our GivingTuesday campaign!
We raised about $1500 for our Griffin Fund, which now totals $6700 towards our $15,000 goal. These funds will help pay for the upgrades to the Wellness Center located in the Counselors' space.
Become a Chaperone or Volunteer
Palumbo teachers and staff occasionally need chaperones for field trips and events. Volunteers also are needed throughout the year for various activities and events.
To be a chaperone and/or a volunteer, all caregivers must have their volunteer clearances on file in the Palumbo office. Click here for clearances list.
Please complete this form to be added to the chaperone/volunteer list.
Thank you to those who have already signed up!

*FREE SAT & COLLEGE APPLICATION PREP
Let’s Get Ready is offering FREE college going support to high school juniors! Applications are open NOW and are accepted on a rolling basis with the application closing on January 8, 2025.
As a member of Let’s Get Ready, your child will have a trained college student mentor whom they can reach out to for advice on building a college list, completing college applications, and navigating financial aid/scholarships at any time. This mentorship is entirely text based, which means it’s convenient, flexible, and there for them whenever they need it! All college student mentors have had to pass a national background check to confirm their eligibility to become mentors. Students who work with us find that they are more organized as they prepare to apply to college and are supported when they are feeling stressed about preparing for their senior year.
In addition, students who are interested can also sign-up for our virtual SAT Prep program that will build a knowledge base to help students increase their scores. This program will be from January 27- March 28, meeting twice weekly Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday from 5-7 PM EST. Students are not required to participate in the SAT Prep course to join Let’s Get Ready. Again, this course is free to students as well.
Our coaches are fun, knowledgeable, and relatable. They recently have been high school students themselves and understand how scary the application process can be. They are also great people to bounce ideas for college essays off of and to talk through what the college experience is like in real time.
To learn more and to apply to this program, please visit our website www.letsgetready.org
If you have any questions, please reach out to enrollment@letsgetready.org.
Thank you,
Katie Flood
