Registration Opens for Returning K-8 Students March 31st
New This Year:
- Parents/guardians can upload their residency, health, and medical documents directly in the registration portal during the registration process eliminating the need to physically provide documentation at a school or district office.
- Documents can still be submitted in person at a school or district office, if needed.
- Students will be marked pending until all documentation is provided.
- parents/guardians will receive an email following registration to identify if there are pending documents or if your child is fully registered.
- Students will not be placed in classes without a fully registered status.

On March 31, 2025, SnapCodes will be sent to all returning families to the email address on file.
Parents/guardians will access the 2025-2026 registration form through MyPowerHub.
- Parents/guardians will log into MyPowerHub (previous PowerSchool Parent Portal) and navigate to the Forms tile.
- Select Registration 2025-2026.
- Use the SnapCode information provided to begin the registration process for your child(ren)

Order online or with an envelope that was sent home with your child. Students are to bring their envelope the day of pictures. Families will not be able to call later to order photos.

Lois Cooper was the first African American woman to be a transportation engineer in California. She became the state's first Black woman to earn a Professional Engineer's license, passing on her first try. Cooper also served as the first woman director of the First Diamond Lane, the precursor to carpool lanes.

- Enrollment is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Students can participate in more than one program if calendar dates do not overlap.
- Seats are limited.
- Consistent student attendance is crucial to ensure every students benefits fully from this programming.
- Breakfast and lunch provided for attending students
- Transportation provided to designated bus stops.
Program Options Available
STEAM Programming (Entering grades 3-8)
Focus on fun, hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering, arts and math through engaging projects and activities.
Program runs:
June 9 –18, 2025 (grades 3-5)
June 23-July 17, 2025 (grades 6-8)
Kindergarten Readiness (Entering Kindergarten)
Focus on skills to ready your child for Kindergarten.
For fully registered Kindergarten students WITHOUT ANY PRIOR SCHOOL EXPERIENCE.
Program runs:
June 9 –July 17, 2025
Music Makers Band Camp (Entering Grades 6-8)
- Students provided an instrument during camp.
- Up to 30 seats per instrument.
- Students can sign up for multiple sessions if interested.

Trumpet and French Horn Camp: June 23-26, 2025

ZESD 6 Celebrates Youth Art Month: A Vibrant Showcase of Student Talent
ZESD 6 honors Youth Art Month with vibrant student artwork from the district! The artwork, displayed throughout the district's schools, highlights our young artists' incredible talent and celebrates the power of art in education, self-expression, and culture. Students share their unique perspectives, creativity, and passion through their work.
Also, make sure to save the date for the district wide art showcase of student work, where art from all seven district buildings will be displayed.

Spotted At ZESD 6
- Beulah Park Elementary is thrilled to have age-appropriate basketball hoops back for our kindergarten through second-grade students, thanks to the combined efforts of ZESD 6 departments and our supplier, Gopher. Our students' joy and excitement as they play one of their favorite sports again has been incredible—thank you to everyone who made this possible!
- The ZCMS eighth-grade girls' basketball team clinched the area championship with an undefeated season, sealing their victory with a 43-34 win over Jack Benny Middle School. Congratulations to the champions!
- East Elementary’s First-grade Spring Fling Dance brought students and their families together Tuesday evening for a fun-filled night of music, dancing, and snacks. It was a fantastic way to celebrate spring and create lasting memories!
- Lakeview Pre-K enjoyed meeting with the ZESD 6 Maintenance and Grounds team on Thursday! Our special guests spoke with students about their essential roles in the district, tool safety, and some tools they use in their work.
- Elmwood’s AttenDANCE event on Thursday afternoon celebrated students with perfect attendance for March, reinforcing the importance of consistent school attendance for academic success. The dance featured music, games, and goody bags while providing parents with valuable information on attendance and upcoming IAR testing.
