Board of Education's NWEA Student Academic Achievement Drawing - June 5th

Distinguished Family & Community Engagement Recognition Program

Last week our Family & Community Coordinator, Mrs. Ina Jones hosted the annual Distinguished FACE Recognition Program. Twenty-four parents were recognized for their diligence in attending a minimum of six family engagement programs during the school year.

Neil Armstrong's principal, Mrs. Etherly was recognized for her on-gong support and partnership in promoting the FACE program and events. In addition to connecting with famiies, her community outreach efforts resulted in partnering with Rich Township HIgh School, the Village of Richton Park, elected officials, businesses and the fire and police department.

Congratulations to all of the recipients! Great job Mrs. Jones and the Commnication Team!

End-of-Year Awards Assembly

During the school-year we honored two-hundred and seventy -five scholars, as well as thirty staff members. Our scholars were recognized by their teachers for being nice, helpful, respectful, and academic achievement. Employees nominated their colleagues for their efforts in exemplifying the core values of the school district.

During the assembly this week, we also recognized our band for their excellence. The band received their medallions during Colin Powell's award program.

The awards assemblies are hosted by Communications DIrector, Mrs. Shelai Friday and presented by the Communications Department.
