🕖 Time: Pick one session (space is tight!) 5:00pm or 6:30pm

👪 Family Fun: This is a family affair, folks! No dropping off your kiddos; we want you to join in the bingo mania!

Note, we will not be sending tickets home, so you don’t have to worry about where you put your tickets. We will have a list with the names of all families that purchased bingo cards and pizza. When you arrive at the door you will check in and a volunteer will hand you your tickets.

Wilson Creek is forming our Math Olympiad Team. Math Olympiad is an opportunity for 4th and 5th graders to practice higher-level math problems and participate in competitions with other math lovers around the world. We will be hosting one team of up to 35 students. If your child is interested in this opportunity, please have them pick up an application outside of Ms. Maness’ room, B233.

Applications will be available beginning September 5 and are due by September 16. Applications should be completed by the student and signed by a parent before turning it back in. After we receive all applications, we will hold mandatory tryouts on Thursday, September 19th at 7:10 AM in room B233. Looking forward to it!

We have updated our form to request an absence in advance. As we have shared, pre-approved absences are no longer accepted except in the case of a once in a lifetime event. If your child needs to be out, you may request for him or her to participate remotely. Per FCS Board Policy, students are allowed up to 5 remote learning days per semester. A remote learning day cannot be taken if a major assessment/assignment/project is being given or due. Remote learning also cannot happen outside the country for security reasons. We strongly encourage parents to plan trips and family gatherings around the instructional calendar that is published at least one year in advance on the county website.

Science Olympiad

The Science Olympiad team will compete in various events at the county competition in March of 2024. This team is made up of students from graded 3-5. Our team will consist of dedicated students who will practice after school and at home to prepare for the competition in March.

Applications for Science Olympiad are due September 18th. Try outs will take place after school on September 23rd from 2:45-3:45. Students can pick up applications outside of Ms. Angley's classroom or by printing the attached PDF.
