What an awesome start to the year! We have already hit the ground running and learning is in full swing. Routines and schedules are in place and students are setting the bar high for great things to come this year.

We will send out a monthly newsletter with important dates and events for the month. These updates will be pushed out through our facebook page, the JN app and on our campus webpage. You are welcome to look back on them throughout the month.

We do plan on attending pep rallys this season. We will work with the HS and other campuses. Once we have these days set they will be communicated by grade level teachers.

We also look forward to participating in some dress up fun and $1 days as the year goes on. Teachers will communicate these days with parents.

Daily Schedule:

7:30 AM - Doors Open

8:15 AM - First bell rings

8:20 AM - Class begins

3:50 PM - Dismissal

*Doors close at 8:20. If you are dropping your student off after 8:20 AM, you will need to sign them in through the front office.

Lunches:

4th grade - 11:25-12:05

5th grade - 11:40-12:20

6th grade - 12:40-1:20

We will welcome parents to come eat with their students during lunch on occasion after the first six weeks of school.

Parents - - you've done a great job learning the systems and patterns at JNI! Thank you for being patient as we worked out the kinks. We have just a few reminders below to help keep things running smoothly.

• When dropping your student off, remember to pull forward beyond the crosswalk - students can utilize that whole stretch of the dropoff lane in the back to get out and walk into school.
• Please make all transportation arrangements through the front office by 3:00pm each day to allow for time to get messages to the student.
• If you are picking up your student early, we ask you be there prior to 3:30 to avoid interfering with the bus lane.

***Homecoming Early Release - - if you are picking your student up early from school, please due so prior to 1:30*** We will release bus students and car riders at 1:50.

Please display your car tag on your dash to help our staff call your student. If you need additional car tags, please let your homeroom teacher know.

School Lunch Prices: $1.50 Breakfast - - $3.25 Lunch

Lunch Accounts and Balances

Letters will be going home with progress reports and reports cards for students with a negative lunch balance.

Please remember to bring your ID with you when signing your student out or joining them for lunch. We take our campus safety very seriously and appreciate you complying with those expectations.
