People already know that fatty food is bad and vegetables are good their just making the wrong choices. But, why? Families, busy, people, and people living on their own choose fast food because its appealing and inexpensive. Some fast food restaurants are placed in lower income communities and have a higher rate of obesity. But, not as many are placed in high in come communities have a lower rate of obesity.

Obesity is causing alarming increases in heart diseases, diabetes, and hyper tension. In our nation, approximately 20% of Americas youth is now over weight. There also many research projects on why america is so obese. A study from researchers at the NYC department of health and mental hygiene concluded that fast food, and fried chicken meals, contains more than the recommended daily intake of salt, which increases the risk of high blood pressure.
Fast Food is Deadly
Every day about a quarter of America eat burgers, fries, and sodas. Obsessions with fast food is harming adults and children in many ways, including death. Fast food and obesity kills nearly 300,000 people yearly.

It can also be known as both "fast food" and "quick-service food" in the restraunt industry, these items are sold and delivered in an amount of time ranging from a few seconds to several minutes.
