Mrs. Mulvanerty's Update
August 18, 2024
November 10, 2024
Greetings, SKS!!!
Many people tell me that they send their children to St. Katharine's because of our community. It’s clear that community is more than just a word here—it’s the joy, support, and kindness our that we share with each other.
We witnessed this beautifully at our Talent Show, where we saw so many students shine! Special thanks to Mrs. Twohig, all of the many parents who helped with choreography, costumes and coordination, and to the stalwart crew who stayed until every chair was folded and the gym floor cover was rolled up and stored until next time. Thank you for all of your contributions and especially for cheering our students!
Thanks also to everyone who joined us for the Parent Social—it was fantastic to see so many faces and build even stronger bonds. Maryanne Lauber and H&S -- you really know how to throw a party! Thank you for all you did to make this event such a wonderful success!
A special shoutout to our students, who have shown incredible kindness this week through their various projects and gestures for Kindness Month. Scroll down to see some examples of student posters -- and a beautiful kindness rock garden designed by 8th grade students and planted with care (and hard work on the weekend!) by our very own Kate Hendrickson!
A quick reminder that Parent-Teacher Conferences are coming up this week! If you plan to meet with your teachers, please schedule time on Option C. We look forward to celebrating your child’s growth and planning for the journey ahead.
Thank you all for making St. Katharine’s a true community of heart and joy.
G.B.Y.*,
Jeanne Mulvanerty
*God Bless You!

Special thanks to Maryanne Lauber and the H&S Team for planning a wonderful Parent Social at the Refectory and for all of those who attended. It was a wonderful evening!
Parent Conferences
Sign Up Now!
Reminder: SKS Parent Teacher Conferences for grades 1-8 will be held on Thursday afternoon and evening November 14th and during the day on Friday, November 15th. There will be a NOON dismissal on Thursday, November 14 th and NO SCHOOL on Friday, November 15th. All conferences will be scheduled via OptionC. Specials teachers will also offer a limited number of conferences to be scheduled via OptionC.
To access the schedules, go to your Option C dashboard, click on the Office tab and the Teacher Conference link is at the bottom of the Office dropdown. Scheduling for meetings is on a first come, first served basis. Please make sure you are able to login to your OptionC account.
It is important to note that you are welcome to schedule a conference, but not obligated to do so. If you have already had contact with your child's teacher and things are going well for your child academically, socially and emotionally you do not need to schedule a conference. Conferences should be scheduled for those parents who have concerns about their child’s progress.
Please note, Kindergarten students will have their conferences on January 17. Teachers will be in contact with progress reports this month. Scheduling for Kindergarten conferences will be through your child’s teacher.
