Dear families,
Today was a great start to iBike week! We are dedicated to supporting the development of the whole child and events like iBike where we can encourage healthy choices and community involvement are important to our efforts. A huge shout out to our Rosemont Dad’s Club for organizing this annual event. I invite you to join us this Friday, April 19th at 4:00PM as we bike from the Rosemont LC Soccer fields to Eno’s in Bishop Arts. If you’re unable to attend, I encourage you to find some time for your family to get active this week and/or spend quality time together. Together, we can support our little bison and their goals.
Ms. Munves, Upper Campus (4 - 8)
Last week, our students and staff came together on Monday afternoon to celebrate the eclipse. It was so special to share such a once in a lifetime historical moment with our Bison. I loved getting to take it all in alongside your students, but I was most impressed by their thoughtful questions and genuine curiosity to learn more about our solar system. Thank you to all of our staff and parent volunteers who collaborated to ensure we has a meaningful and safe celebration for our students.
As we step into the 2nd week of STAAR assessments, please be reminded that our campus remains closed to visitors in the month of April. This week, all 5th grade students will take the Science STAAR assessment. 8th graders will take the Science and the Social Studies STAAR. Please support us in ensuring that your student arrives to school on time. We encourage all students to get a good night's sleep and have breakfast at home or breakfast provided here on campus. Our wonderful PTA has donated waters and snacks for every student on his/her assessment days. In order to ensure a quiet and respectful environment for all students, we will not have outdoor recess during the assessment window. District devices will be kept on campus for charging. Please remind your student to bring a book to read.
Additionally, please see the updates below regarding our outdoor space, Career Day, and 24-25 Planning. We are excited for these upgrades and opportunities that are in the works for our Bison!
