Front Parking Lot at Union Chapel
- Families with students in Grades K-1-2 will drive-through the Front Parking Lot at UC.
- Supplies for students in Grades K-1-2 will be picked up and any supplies (i.e., laptops, library books, etc.) will be collected. Please bring items in a bag, if possible.
- K, 1st, & 2nd grade TEACHERS will be in this area.
Bus Circle at Union Chapel
- Families with students in Grades 3-4-5 will drive-through the Union Chapel bus circle.
- Supplies for students in Grades 3-4-5 will be picked up and any supplies (i.e., laptops, library books, etc.) will be collected. Please bring items in a bag, if possible.
- 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade TEACHERS will be in this area.
We realize some families will need to drive through both the Front Parking Lot and the Bus Circle during this process. However, we hope since we have divided up the number of families coming to UC each day that this process will run smoothly and be a F-U-N experience seeing your child's teacher(s) one last time as we conclude the 2019-2020 school year.
Start thinking about how your family will display your Gator spirit on this day by decorating your family's car and also making large signage so TEACHERS will be able to identify who is arriving! We hope to create a feeling of a car PARADE at Union Chapel!
Optional Dates: If families are unable to participate on these two dates, the Union Chapel School Office will be OPEN on June 1 and June 2, 2020 to facilitate this process of picking up students' belongings and dropping off library books, laptops, etc. The classroom teachers will NOT be working on June 1 or June 2. However, the office staff will be here to provide assistance. You may call 816-359-4310 to schedule an appointment.

Support for Your Family
Social Worker Ellie Logan and Counselor Beth Dusin are available to support your kids and your family during Distance Learning. Please don't hesitate to reach out if your family could use help--whether emotional, physical or social. Ellie and Beth, along with Interventionist Jan Rapp, began hosting casual zoom lunches for students this week. Students will receive an invitation when it is their class's turn.
Kindergarten Enrollment
Do you have a child or know someone with a child starting kindergarten in the fall? We are now taking kindergarten information for the 2020-21 school year for children who will be five years old on or before July 31 this year. Please call the UC office and let us know!
Enrollment and residency verification began April 1, 2020. Information will be located on the Park Hill website, www.parkhill.k12.mo.us under parent resources. Please note that current UC families with an incoming kindergartner will add this child to your parent portal during the verification process; you will not complete the enrollment process, only the verification process.
