Details for Upcoming Events:
Sweet Frog Fundraiser - Headed to the 4th & 5th Grade Bethel Springs Chorus Concert on Monday, December 17th? Swing by Sweet Frog in Glen Mills (600 Town Centre Drive) after the performance to treat your family to some yummy goodness. A percentage of your purchase will benefit our school! The fundraiser runs all day, so even if you aren’t planning on attending the concert, swing by for a sweet treat for a great cause! Please mention that you are with our group when checking out. Check out the FLYER for additional details.
Reminders about Ongoing Fundraisers: Help support BSES while you shop!
Amazon Smile: While you’re finishing up your holiday shopping, don’t forget that BSES participates in Amazon Smile! Navigate to https://smile.amazon.com/, and select Bethel Springs Elementary School as your charity of choice. When you shop at Amazon Smile, you’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection, and convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price to your favorite charitable organization (aka-BSES HSA, right?!). As of October 2018, BSES HSA has received over $200 from Amazon Smile since its registration in the program, and it’s pretty much zero effort for anyone who uses Amazon to shop.
Shoparoo: The heat is on!! Update-2nd Grade has pretty commanding lead with 5th Grade trailing not too far behind, while 4th Grade, 3rd Grade and 1st Grade are all neck and neck. If you are not familiar with the Shoparoo app, families upload photos of receipts from grocery stores, restaurants, and retail stores. Bethel Springs earns points for each receipt uploaded (think Acme, Giant, Wegmans, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Target, Walmart, BJs, Costco, etc), and participants can track who is leading with the most points in the school and in their grade for a friendly competitive bonus. Shoparoo issues annual checks based on the points earned; we are almost to the $50 mark so far with a goal of over $200 for the year. Our school is lucky to be enrolled in Shoparoo as there is currently a waiting list for other schools who want to register, and the effort for parents is fairly minimal since it’s shopping that you would already do. Please visit www.shoparoo.com to download the free app and learn more about this hassle-free fundraiser.
