TBS Tiger Newsletter
October 2024
Dear Three Bridges School Community,
I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying the beautiful fall season! We’ve had a busy and exciting few weeks here at Three Bridges, and we’re thrilled to share some highlights with you. In this newsletter, you’ll find photos from our Week of Respect, Unity Day, the Kindergarten field trip, and our very first Paws for Peace Buddy Meeting! It’s been heartwarming to see our students actively participating in these special events, promoting respect, unity, and school-wide connections.
We’re also delighted to showcase some of the incredible STEM activities and hands-on learning happening in our classrooms. Our teachers and students are diving into projects that challenge their thinking and bring their learning to life.
On another note, we want to remind everyone about our upcoming fundraiser. All proceeds will go directly to replenishing our Student Activity Account, which funds so many of the wonderful programs and events that enhance your child’s school experience. Every dollar raised is invested in making Three Bridges a fun, enriching, and engaging place to learn. We appreciate your support in helping us continue these opportunities!
One area we’d like to emphasize is the importance of regular, on-time attendance. Building strong literacy and math skills starts early, and every day counts. These foundational skills are critical for your child’s future success. In addition, when students attend school consistently, they build good habits, strengthen social connections, and develop a sense of responsibility that will serve them well throughout life.
As always, we are proud of our Terrific Tigers and the growth we’re seeing every day. Thank you for your continued partnership in making Three Bridges such a special place for your child to learn and thrive.
Yours in tiger spirit,
Kristen Higgins, Ed. D.

The Mission of Three Bridges School is to provide a caring, nurturing community where all the students feel secure and accepted. We encourage respect, perseverance, independence, and resiliency to maximize personal and academic growth. We believe our choices can have a positive impact on our world as global citizens; therefore, we strive to lead by example.
District Strategic Goals
- Inquisitive Learning Create and establish an inquiry-based framework that values an interest-driven learning environment. Learners will, individually and collaboratively, focus on identifying, analyzing, and solving problems as inquisitive members of their community.
- Partnerships Establish partnerships that foster meaningful educational opportunities on local, regional, and global scales. Prepare all learners to become engaged and productive citizens through service to others, collaboration, and real-world connections.
- Social Awareness Our learners will feel connected, valued, and secure in digital and non-digital learning environments cultivated by a shared sense of community. Every individual will develop skills that promote an awareness of self and others as well as the environment, including the ability to understand the impact of their decisions.
