Welcome Back to School
September 2024 Principal's Newsletter
Principal's Message:
Dear Parents, Guardians and Significant Adults,
As the 2024-25 school year begins, we are excited to launch into “Space for all of us”. At Sequoia, Port Gardner and HS Online Options, we have 3 unique programs all housed on one campus meeting the needs of diverse learners focused on individual student growth.
We will continue to explore avenues to increase student achievement. We are rooted in choice, equity and building relationships. We focus on individualization while holding students to high academic standards, preparing them for life as contributors to their communities.
As we welcome students back into the building, they will see significant changes this year. There is no longer a CONNECTED registration class but rather a 3-day orientation and students receive a Term 1 schedule on Friday, Sept 6. Regular classes will begin on September 9, 2024.
I would encourage you to read the Everett School District Policy 3246P regarding personal electronic devices (PED) below.
We look forward to a great 2024–25 school year.
Jack Roy
Principal
