The Weekly Roar

Hello River Bend Families!
It has been a really REALLY busy week!
We are NWEA benchmark testing, had our first parent book study, Red Carpet assembly, drone presentation, fire simulation trailer, and ended the week with a wonderful performance by Central High's jazz choir, 'Standard Time.'
Looking ahead to next week, we will have our first Tiger Express Night on Monday. It is SOLD OUT. Unfortunately, this is an event where we will not be able to take walk ups at the door.
Next Friday is a half day which means 1:00 dismissal. Traditionally, we have a pajama spirit day on the half day before winter break. We do not serve a hot lunch on this day. Students should bring a nut free snack to eat in their classrooms between our sing-a-long and dismissal. If a student does not have a snack and/or would like to purchase a snack bag from the cafeteria, they may do so. It will contain a muffin, yogurt, and cheese stick.
Enjoy your weekend and stay warm!
Each child as my own,
Jaime
