SEAS Faith Formation
June 1, 2024
A Note from Driskill's Desk
Happy June!
We pray this newsletter finds you in good health and enjoying the beginning of summer with your family!
During the week, our building may sound quiet, but our staff is busy preparing for Good Shepherd First Reconciliations, First Communions, two Confirmation masses, Vacation Bible School and the 2024-2025 school year! Wooo Hooo! I humbly ask that you keep the students and staff in your prayers.
During the summer months, you may be planning your vacations, but we are not taking a vacation from Children’s Church, so we invite you to bring a friend to Mass! We love “SEAing” you every Sunday!
Once again, thank you for all your support of our SEAS Faith Formation program. This all works because of three things…God, a GREAT team (parents, volunteers, staff) and a pastor, like Father Conor who is open to the movement of the Spirit!
For the most up to date information on our programs, please subscribe to flocknote, view the TVs in the building, check our website or check out the links to our social media at the bottom of the newsletter.
Continue to pray for us as we continue to pray for you!
God Bless,
Mrs. Driskill
Children's Mass Information
Elementary Faith Formation
All the students who just received First Communion are invited to join us at the Children's Mass this upcoming Sunday, June 2 to celebrate the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ. The children can wear their First Communion outfits and will be included in our opening procession.
We pray that you continue to feel and know the presence of Jesus each time you receive the body of Christ.

Safety Procedures
The safety of our students, families, volunteers, and staff is a top priority for our Faith Formation Ministry. It is important to us that parents feel comfortable and confident while their children attend classes at SEAS. We take several steps to ensure we are providing a safe environment for all.
Each of our volunteers and all of the staff are required to take Safe Environment Trainings. Our Good Shepherd and Elementary students must be picked up from their classroom to guarantee that they leave with a trusted adult. You will also notice that we have a police officer on site during each class session.
To help with safety measures, we ask that parents read the below handbook provided by the Archdiocese of San Antonio.
