Dear Kendallvue Families,

We had a great day for a hike last Saturday at Lair O' the Bear! I realize the parking is not the best at that park. It is a pretty busy place! We hope to have more events like this to gather as a community. We will let you know in advance for our next scheduled event.

Our Fall Fundraiser is coming up soon! The Coyote Crawl will be a fun run on Friday, October 4th. There will be more detailed information coming next week. This is the beginning of a more long-term plan for beautifying our school grounds. Our plans include creating some shade areas around the school, an outdoor classroom, and an amphitheater on the west side of the building. We have lots of fun events planned out for the week - so stay tuned and save the date for October 4th!

Thank you, parents, for getting your student(s) to school last week. We noticed a drop in our tardies toward the end of the week. This goes a long way to helping create success for students in the long-run. We notice and appreciate your efforts!

New to Kendallvue- 100 Mile Club

• We are excited to offer the 100 Mile Club - starting September 24th @ 7:20 am.

• The Campus Parent Absence Request tool is a function within Infinite Campus that parents can use to report same day or upcoming absences with ease. You are also welcome to call the attendance line at 303-982- 7989. For any early release appointments, we prefer that you call the school at 303 982 7990 so that we can easily send a pass for your student.

Supporting Social-Emotional Learning at Home

October 9th 5-6pm Virtual

Looking to engage parents and caregivers in supporting students’ social and emotional well-being at home? Participants in this workshop explore a variety of strategies they can integrate into their households with learners of all ages. We review a bank of valuable resources parents and caregivers can access for additional information about supporting students’ SEL in intentional ways to build empathy, kindness, and an inclusion mindset.
