Eagles' Extra

The staff at Donalda School is excited to welcome our students back, as well as few new faces, for another great year of learning. Fall truly is a favorite time of year for me. I enjoy hearing about students' summers, see how much they have grown and just feel the buzz and excitement of the new school year.

I would like to take the opportunity to introduce our staff. Our teaching staff consists of Hope Stewart (kindergarten), Teresa Andersson (grade 1/2), Kallie Pelech (grade 3/4), Krystal Rindero (grade 5/6), Chelsey Murat (junior high), and myself, Julie Siemens (junior high math. Teachers will be reaching out to their students' parents as ways to contact them. In the meantime, if you would like to connect with your child's teacher, please call the school (403-883-2280). Our support staff this year includes Mackenzie Hayden (preschool teacher), Hayley Godin (grade 2/3 student support), Colleen Jeppesen (grade 4/5 student support), Clorinda McLean (grade 4/5 student support & librarian), RaeAnna Normand (grade 4/5 student support), and Alison Norman (administrative assistant & literacy support). These six individuals at vital to our school, and student learning!

Cross country running practices will be starting up this week. Practices will be on Tuesdays & Fridays during first recess. More information about cross country races will be coming out soon.

Don't worry, not all the runs are that muddy!

Sign up lists for the volleyball teams will be up at the office, once teams and coaches have been established, information will be going out to parents regarding practices, games and tournaments.
