As we move into November, we have a few key updates, reminders, and exciting highlights to share with you. Please take a moment to read through and mark your calendars!
📅 No School on Tuesday, November 5th
A reminder that this Tuesday, November 5th, is a student holiday. Our teachers will be participating in professional development, so there will be no school for students. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Wednesday, November 6th, ready to continue a fantastic month of learning and growth.
🪶 November is Native American Heritage Month
This month, we join schools and communities nationwide in honoring the rich history, diverse cultures, and significant contributions of Native Americans. Throughout November, we will celebrate with classroom activities, discussions, and learning moments that honor Indigenous voices and heritage. We encourage you to join us by exploring Native American history, art, and literature with your child.
🎉 Grade Level Assemblies – Highlights & Resources
Last week, we held our quarterly Grade Level Assemblies to share key information, celebrate successes, and foster a positive school culture. Topics included our school-wide goals, academic expectations, behavior guidelines, and an outline of upcoming events. We’ve attached copies of the presentation slides for each grade level, so you can review the information with your child. These assemblies are an important time for our students to connect as a class and align with our school values and goals. Thank you for supporting our efforts to keep everyone on the same page!

Attendance Reminders/Updates
**90% rule what does it mean?**
**90% rule what does it mean?**
If a student drops below 90% in a course, an "NC" is entered instead of a grade. The grade may be passing – but the student did not attend at least 90% of the time. Please contact your student’s Assistant Principal to see what corrective steps must be taken.
Notices are going out to families this week whose students are dropping below 90% attendance and we will be required to attend "Attendance Matters" workshop:
