Mid-August Family Update
Greetings Glendale Families-
We are two weeks away from the start of the school year! We are excited for the opportunities that lie ahead and the chance to make lasting memories with our Glendale families and Panthers. Together, we will "Light the Way" as we celebrate Lighthouse Status and create a positive and enriching environment for all of our students. Placement letters will be mailed out today, 8/19 and you should expect your Welcome Back Panther Packet for the up coming school year in the next two days.
We hope to see all you at our Ice Cream Social on August 21st to meet our new families, connect with myself and Mrs. Jagielo along with kicking off the school year. Thank you to our Glendale PTO for making that happen!
If you haven't done so already, please make sure to fill out your plans for Transportation this year as it will help us to proactively prepare for the first day of school. We look forward for all of our Panthers to return on Tuesday, September 3rd!
With Panther Pride,
Karen DeLaPlante; Building Principal
Chandra Jagielo; Glendale Administrator for Culture & Climate

ALL of our students will be receiving Breakfast and Lunch at "NO COST" thanks to the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).
Sweet Home Central School District is pleased to inform our families that Sweet Home Food Service Department will be offering breakfast and lunch at NO COST to all students in our School District for the 2024-2025 school year.
What does this mean for children that attend Sweet Home Central School District - ALL students are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and a healthy lunch at school for NO COST every day for the entire 2024-2025 school year.
The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) is a non-pricing meal service option for schools and school districts in low-income areas. CEP allows the nation’s highest poverty schools and districts to serve breakfast and lunch at no cost to all enrolled students.
To ensure the free meal program CEP (Community Eligible Provision) can continue - the district is requesting each and every household complete a Household Income Form. PLEASE ONLY FILL OUT THE FORM IF YOU QUALIFY PER THE GUIDELINES. This is not mandatory, however, completion of this form will help the District maximize the amount of state and federal aid that it receives, thereby maximizing resources available to students. A paper copy of the form can be found in the 2024-2025 District Calendar mailed to all district residents. Please complete by September 30, 2024. ***You only need to fill it out if you qualify in the income guidelines.***
PLEASE DO NOT SEND IN A FORM IF YOU ARE OVER THE INCOME GUIDELINES OR HAVE A CASE NUMBER.
