Field Day Help Needed
Our Field Day sign up is starting to fill up, but we we're STILL alarmingly low on volunteers- especially in the afternoon when 4th and 5th grade have their activities. Please check out this link to sign up and help on this fun day!
Dress Code Reminder
The weather is getting warmer, so we're offering a reminder on our student dress code from the TF Student handbook. Please read below and save both our staff and your child a difficult conversation if these guidelines aren't followed!
Clothing worn by students shall be neat, clean, and in good repair for the personal health and safety of the students. Any clothing or grooming practices that disrupts or threatens to disrupt the education process, or is threatening to health, is a violation of school policy. Students are required to observe the following:
- Students should not wear excessively short shorts, skirts, and tops that expose the midriff, expose undergarments, or are deemed by staff to be excessively revealing.
We ask that you observe the clothing your child wears to school to see that it is appropriate and in good taste for our community. Students who are inappropriately dressed will be asked to contact their parent(s) to bring them more appropriate clothing for school wear or may be asked to turn their shirt inside out. Clothing that is fashionable may not be acceptable in school.

Jason Riebe, Principal
Mr. Riebe lives with his wife of nineteen years and four children (all of whom attend/ed TF Elementary) in Taylors Falls. On a weekend, you'll find him doing pretty much anything outside: Fishing with the kids, hiking, hunting, camping, or tinkering with a new woodworking project in the garage. He's an avid Boundary Waters explorer, North Shore adventurer, ardent angler, and is fond of weekend experiments on his smoker.
Fun facts about Mr. Riebe
- His right eye is two different colors. This is called heterochromia!
- The only food he can't (and won't) eat is green peppers.
- In college, he worked in orphanages in Mexico and the Republic of Trinidad.
- He and his wife once hiked in the Andes Mountains in Peru for 6 days.
