HERE IS A RECAP: Monday was tile painting, Tuesday was cookie decorating, Wednesday we made bracelets, Thursday the therapy puppies were on campus, and Friday was slime making.
The best part of the two stress relief weeks has been seeing our students come together to interact and share in the activities!
That's not all! Our ASB decorated the campus in a Holiday theme to help our students DE-stress and celebrate! Good luck with finals Mustangs! You got this!
Home for the Holidays Concert was a Hit!
The annual Home for the Holidays Concert was held on Thursday, December 12th, in the Performing Arts Center with a SPECIAL GUEST FROM THE NORTH POLE (aka Buddy Clements as Santa Claus!) What a great night as the concert featured ALL 250 students in our instrumental music program!
Two Teachers Become National Board Certified!
BIG SHOUTOUT to Diana De La Cruz & Nick Madrid.
Both were notified this month that they are officially National Board Certified Teachers.
Only 3% of the nation's teachers successfully pass this rigorous, performance-based, peer-review program, demonstrating their proven impact on student learning and achievement.
Walnut High School now has 6 active National Board Certified Teachers (The most in WVUSD).
