Welcome to Trimester 2! I love this time of year at the middle school as there are so many exciting community events for our students to be a part of, and it is a great time to remind us of the amazing community that we are a part of. Some big events this week are our Chorus and Band Concert at the high school (see details and ticket link below) and our annual leadership fundraiser of Candy Canes for Kindness. To participate in Candy Canes for Kindness, students will need to bring cash and they are not able to take money out of their lunch account for the fundraiser (we get this question from the students every year). Please reach out to me or to your student's counselor if you would like the school to sponsor your student, so all can participate.

🎻🔔⛄Winter Concert (12/12): Please join us Thursday, Dec 12 at 6:30pm at Monomoy Regional High School, 75 Oak St, Harwich, for our 2024 Winter Concert, showcasing band and choral students from Monomoy Regional Middle School. Online pre-sale tickets are recommended! Online purchase window will close at 8:00 PM on 12/11/24. The remainder of available tickets may be purchased at the door with cash sales only. All proceeds go directly back to support our MRMS music program.

PLEASE 🎵: With respect to all the students' hard work, please plan to stay for the concert to the end. There will be no intermission.

Spring Musical: Auditions for the Spring musical, Shrek Jr., will begin this week. Please see the flyer below with details! You can reach out to Mrs. Davol directly with any questions: sdavol@monomoy.edu.

Seminar Update: This week students will begin their trimester 2 seminars. Thank you to the Student Ambassadors for putting together this short video explaining seminar to students.

MRMS Winter Clubs: Clubs are starting this week! You can find information for sign up on our website https://mrms.monomoy.edu/clubs-activities

Bus Reminder: If your child is taking a bus other than their own, we need to have permission from a parent or guardian. Without permission, we are not able to allow students on a different bus. Please use Pick Up Patrol as the easiest way to communicate these requests.
