A Message from the Principal - Mrs. Bookman
Dear Suffield Family,
Wow! What an incredible week it has been! We kicked things off by recognizing and celebrating our amazing fifth graders and their outstanding accomplishments. The talent show on Tuesday was an absolute blast, showcasing the incredible talents of our students here at Suffield. It was probably one of the best shows we've had! Great work!!
We would like to give a HUGE thanks to all the parents who not only joined us but also went the extra mile by grilling delicious hotdogs for our picnic lunch on Wednesday. Moreover, a big shoutout to those who helped execute the activities during our games day. We would also like to express our deep appreciation to all the families who generously donated, contributing to the tremendous success of this event. The weather held off and allowed us to have an outstanding day!
Last but not least, today we concluded the week with an epic staff versus 5th-grade kickball game. It was a fantastic way to wrap up an unforgettable week.
We'd like to wish good luck to several staff memebers who are leaving us this summer. First, Mr. Sollers, our custodian is retiring. I'm sure our students will miss his warm welcome each day as he greets them at the door. Second, Mrs. Kisamore, paraprofessional, is heading off to Field Middle School as secretary. Our fifth graders will have a familiar face there! Third, Mrs. Adamo, teacher, has decided to take some time off from teaching to be with her family. She promises to be at Suffield often in a volunteer capacity. Mrs. Ankrom, 1st grade teacher, is leaving us to follow her husband to a new job out of state. Although she's only been with us for this year, she has made a huge impact on many lives and we will miss her! Lastly, Mr. Lynch, the best assistant principal ever, is leaving us to take on a new role as Principal at Brimfield Elementary. He has been wonderful to work with and will be greatly missed by all.
For everyone else, we encourage you to make the most of this summer by cherishing precious moments with your loved ones. Prioritize safety and well-being as you enjoy your time together. Soon enough, we'll be reunited on August 27th from 5:00-6:30 for our much-anticipated Annual Back to School Celebration! Mark your calendars, as school officially begins on August 28th. We look forward to being together again soon.
Thank you for another wonderful year!

Leadership Roles for May
A Friendly Reminder: Check the Lost & Found When You Visit Our School
We're thrilled to welcome you to our school, whether it's for a parent-teacher conference, a special event, or just to spend some time with your child's class. As you explore our wonderful learning environment, we wanted to take a moment to remind you about an important stop you can make while you're here - our Lost and Found!
Our Lost and Found is a treasure trove of forgotten items, from jackets and lunch boxes to water bottles and notebooks. Sometimes, the smallest and most valuable items end up there, waiting to be reunited with their owners. We encourage you to check the Lost and Found area located in the front hallway while you're visiting. All items not claimed by June 6th will be donated to Goodwill.
We also recommend labeling your child's items with their name and contact information to make it easier for us to return lost items promptly.
