PLTW Biomed 4th Year Class
These seniors have been busy collecting data on human physiology. Big thank you to Mr. Evans, Mrs. Patino, and Mrs. Collatz for helping out with participants for their studies. Now it is time to analyze the data!

Counseling Corner:
- Counseling October Newsletter can be found HERE
- Tutoring: please see the attached flyer HERE for tutoring opportunities for you student(s).
- The PSAT test will be Saturday October 26th. Students can register and pay at our finance office. This is a great opportunity for 10th and 11th grade students to begin their SAT preparation.
- The ASVAB test will be October 9th. Students will need to see Mrs. Gallen in room 810 to register.
- 10th - 12th grade students: The National Honor Society application is available online: https://tinyurl.com/stockdalenhs
- Counselors will be doing presentations to 10th and 11th grade classes in early October so look out for that information!
- SENIOR STUDENTS: Students should begin their college applications. The UC application is open, CSU application will open October 1, and the Bakersfield College application will open later this semester. Students can register for upcoming application workshops: bit.ly/SthsCollegeWorkshops
- The Scholarship Scoop for seniors is posted on the school website and on Canvas. It can be found HERE

Join us for our upcoming Stockdale High School Blood Drive on October 10 and make a difference in the lives of those in need. Your single blood donation can save up to three lives! See Ms. Frank in 508 for a permission slip

Why Donate?
Every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Hospitals rely on donations to support accident victims, cancer patients, and those undergoing surgery. You can be a hero by giving just an hour of your time!
How to Sign Up:
Visit the sign-up booth in the quad during lunches
Or, get a permission slip from Ms. Frank in 508
Eligibility:
Must be at least 16 years old (with parental consent)
Bring a photo ID
Eat a good meal and stay hydrated before donating
All donors will receive a free t-shirt, pumpkin patch admission ticket and snacks!
Letβs come together and show the power of our community! Be a life-saving hero on October 10.

THE BAD TALENT SHOW!
THE BAD TALENT SHOW! Our annual Bad Talent Show is a fundraiser put on by our Advanced Drama students to support Stockdale's Drama Club and all of our events throughout the year. The audience votes to determine the champion of our show that's so bad - it's good! ONE NIGHT ONLY! September 26 at 7pm in the theatre - admission is just $5 and votes are just 25Β’!
