Yammer is used by 85% of the Fortune 500 list companies and is an important internal communication social platform.
What is "Yammer"?
It is a special social internal network, developed by Microsoft for companies. As a word, it means “nonstop talking”. Apparently it loves to communicate a lot!
When you are out of office, it doesn't mean that you are out of communication!
Wherever you are, you are able to follow the conversations, share updates and communicate with your team via your Yammer mobile application as well as your desktop. Please don't forget to upload Yammer mobile application.
Yammer can only be seen by employees of Anel Group.
How can you use Yammer in the best way?
For a better communication with your colleagues, use your real name and photo.
Don't forget! Your profile will be more useful if it is filled completely. List your expertise in your bio, so your colleagues can know what you do beyond your job title listed in the Anel address book.
Share a photo of your project or of an event
You can also share infographics, visualizations, charts, graphs, etc.
Share something fun
Help your colleagues loosen up when the stress is high. Share a file, video, photo, etc. to gather comments and feedback.
Ask for feedback
Post a PowerPoint presentation to promote discussion underneath the whole presentation. Your colleagues can also comment on individual slides. No more e-mailing presentations back and forth!
Provide links to the original source if reference is needed. Add #hashtag to the content you share. So your colleagues can find it easily.

Open a private or a public Yammer group in seconds
You can open a Yammer group for your department, project, application, hobby etc. and invite your colleagues. You can easily share an update or make an announcement.
We have already opened groups for all departments, projects and social clubs. Before opening a Yammer group, we suggest you to search if there is a similar or same group. If there is, you can join immediately or ask for a permission from the admin.

Tag someone in a discussion to alert them that you need their participation.

Reduce e-mails.
Hold a discussion on Yammer. It will show up as one thread that can collapse rather than several separate emails.

E-mail requires setting up filters. While you may have to categorize e-mails manually, your discussions are already separated by those groups in Yammer.

Click on "follow" next to a document and be able to know when a newer version of that document is uploaded.
