Maryland School Survey
All grade 9-11 Carver Center students will complete the Maryland School Survey on Tuesday, March 25, during Advisory. Grade 12 students will not participate in the survey. This is an important and required survey mandated by the state of Maryland. Student participation and feedback directly impact our school's Maryland Star Rating. Therefore, it is crucial that we achieve a high completion rate.
We kindly request your support in ensuring your student is present and prepared to complete the survey on Tuesday, March 25th. We appreciate your cooperation and partnership in this important matter.
SAT Administration for Grade 11 - Thursday, April 3rd
Carver Center will administer the SAT to all 11th-grade students on Thursday, April 3rd, at 7:30am. This is a “B” Day. It is crucial that all 11th-grade students are present and prepared to take the SAT on this date. This standardized test is an important component of their academic journey and college preparation.
To help students prepare, we will be providing them with information and resources in the coming weeks. We encourage students to take advantage of these opportunities to familiarize themselves with the test format and content.
We kindly ask that you plan to ensure your 11th-grade student arrives at school on time and is well-prepared for the SAT on April 3rd. Please ensure they get a good night's sleep and have a nutritious breakfast.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the SAT administration, please do not hesitate to contact the school at 443-809-2775 or email Mr. Whatley at kwhatley@bcps.org
Thank you for your cooperation and support in ensuring our students' success.
