Cold Spring Early Learning Center
Welcome Back!
Get those backpacks ready and the lunchboxes out! It's almost time for a new school year! We are ready, excited, and happily awaiting your child’s arrival on September 4th! We, here at Cold Spring, create a warm, welcoming, nurturing, and challenging environment where all children experience success, and we can’t wait to start the year! Our floors and classrooms are shimmering thanks to our custodial crew. You will see Mr. Burdick during the days helping our students and staff, and Mr. Miles in the evenings. Much gratitude to them for getting our building ready for another wonderful year.
We will spend our first few days getting back into the swing of things and creating new routines to set us up for a successful day at school. Please remember to send your child in with a healthy snack and water bottle every day.
Important Information
Summer mailing was sent home last week containing information regarding your child's teacher for this school year.
There will be a plethora of information coming home the first week of school. Take your time to look through it, but please send back emergency forms and paperwork as soon as possible. The Student Handbook may answer a lot of your questions; however, you can reach out anytime through email or a phone call.

Food Services
Many of your questions can be answered here: https://www.ppcsd.org/departments/food-services. We are excited to share that beginning on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost to all students in all schools. This is being made possible by the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) designation and funding granted to the District by the New York State Education Department. Please see the attachments to this email for more information.
Don't forget that our kitchen offers birthday treats for purchase. We do ask that birthday treats (if brought from home) be commercially prepared and packaged. Thank you!
