River Mill Elementary - October 25th
Dear River Mill Families,
We had an absolutely fantastic time at our Harvest Festival, and we were thrilled to welcome around 450 guests! A huge thank you to all the families and staff who attended, volunteered, and generously contributed donations to make this event such a success. Your support and involvement truly helped us pull it off, and we are so grateful for your partnership. It was a joy to see so many smiling faces, with everyone enjoying the activities and festive atmosphere. We look forward to continuing to create special moments like this that bring our school community together! Thank you again for making it such a memorable event.
We're excited to let you know that students are welcome to wear costumes to school on Thursday, October 31st. To ensure a fun and safe environment for everyone, we ask that costumes follow a few guidelines. Please do not wear or bring masks, inflatable costumes, weapons, or anything with blood/gore. For our younger students, please choose costumes that allow them to easily use the restroom on their own. We want to keep it lighthearted and enjoyable for all students!
Additionally, as part of Red Ribbon Week, we're encouraging students to partipate by dressing up as their favorite book/move character on Thursday, October 31st. However, this is entirely optional--studens can choose to wear a regular costume, no costume at all, or a book/movie character costume. It's a wonderful way to combine the fun of Halloween with school spirit, and love of reading!
Thank you for your continued support,
Lindsey Fullenwider, Principal
Trevor Syring, Vice Principal
