The Final Stretch!
June Special Attendance Days
Next week, our schedule looks different from the rest of the district, please note that our Early Childhood and WELE half day programs end the school year on different days due to our calendar. Kindergarten has a different last day as well. Please see the schedule below so that you know which day your child's last day of attendance is for this school year. (Full calendar click HERE)
EC/WELE Program Last Attendance Days:
6-4 Last day for AM (Regular day for AM/PM)
6-5 Last day for PM (Early Release for K, EC/WELE only PM comes, they come in the AM and it's their last day)
6-6 No EC/WELE in attendance
Kindergarten Special Attendance Days:
6-5 Early Release @10:40 a.m.
6-6 Last day of school for Kindergarten; Early release at 10:40 a.m.
Report Cards and NWEA MAP Reports
The end of the year means that parents and caregivers will receive a report card on their child's growth and progress. You will be able to access these documents on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
Because the access of these reports is different for kindergarten and EC/WELE families, the directions and information have been broken down by program below. Please reach out to your child's teacher or me if you have questions or need assistance for any of the reports discussed below.
Your child has been working hard and growing and developing at their own rate. We are proud of the hard work our students have put in to learn academically and socially. Take time to celebrate your child!
Early Childhood and WELE
If your child is in and Early Childhood or WELE classroom, they will be viewing their child's report card in our Teaching Strategies Gold portal. As the parent/caregiver, you will receive a notification that your child's report is ready for viewing. If you have any difficulty viewing the report or don't receive a message through the Teaching Strategies Gold portal, please reach out to your child's teacher or Mrs. Rouse, the Early Childhood Supervisor, me or our office staff to assist you.
Structured Learning and Individualized Education Plans
If your child is in our structured learning Early Childhood classrooms, your child will not receive a report card. You will receive a progress report on your child's Individualized Education Plan. This will provide a picture of your child's growth towards their personalized goals.
All students that have an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) will receive an email with goal updates from your child's case manager.
**If you have had an IEP meeting in the last month, you have already received the progress report
Kindergarten
Parents and caregivers will access report cards through our Skyward system. They will be available starting at 3:00 p.m. on June 6th. As a reminder, we use a Standards Based report card. To fully understand how standards based grading works, please take some time to review the information that we have put together to assist you. Check out all of the links below.

June Breakfast & Meal Forms
There are only a couple of days left, but if your child needs to order their meals (EC/WELE) or breakfast(K) use the forms below. Thank you!
Celebrating our Students!
Next week we will be celebrating our EC/WELE students and our kindergarten students for their hard work this year! We have worked hard to build a community of learners and so our goal is to have our students celebrate each other!
We have a special tradition that we reserve for the last days of school at Primary. We have a fun parade that we do for each of the grades, they make posters and show class pride and celebrate by cheering each other on! We have a special last day dance party with Wiley and our staff for our K students! The parade is held on each of their last days (AM, PM and K all end on different days, so these are held at different times) and it's a great time for us to model supporting one another as classmates and staff. We are a Primary family!
