✅ How to Activate Your Student Account
Instructions for Activating Your CaliforniaColleges.edu Account
- Visit the Website: Go to CaliforniaColleges.edu.
- Select "Register": Click on the "Register" button located in the top-right corner of the homepage.
- Choose: I am a Student
- Choose Your District: select "Alhambra Unified " from the list of partner districts.
- Type in the name of your school
- Complete Student Information: Fill in your details, including your name, birth date, and your school-issued email address (e.g., IDnumber@students.ausd.us).
- Create a Password: Choose a secure password for your account.
- Submit Registration: Follow the prompts to complete your registration.
- Log In: Once registered, return to the homepage, click on "Sign In," and enter your AUSD email address and newly created password.

CaliforniaColleges.edu offers a wide range of assessments and planning tools to help high school students get on the right track:
Career Interest Profiler: Discover careers that match your interests by answering a series of questions about your preferences. This tool provides detailed information about various occupations, including required education levels, potential earnings, and job outlook.

⭐Special Feature for 12th Graders: Import Your Grades!⭐
If you're a senior, CaliforniaColleges.edu makes applying to college even easier! You can directly import your grades from PowerSchool into your college applications. This feature streamlines the application process and ensures accuracy when applying to California State Universities (CSUs), University of California (UC) campuses, and through the Common Application.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If your grades are not imported into CaliforniaColleges.edu, it may be because your parents opted out of this feature. Your parent can email your academic school counselor to let them know you want to be opted back in.
🏠 Parents/Guardians Can Get Involved Too!
Parents and guardians, CaliforniaColleges.edu allows you to support your student’s college and career planning. You can create your own account and stay informed about your student’s progress, explore college and financial aid options, and access tools to guide them through their academic journey.
To create a parent account:
- Visit CaliforniaColleges.edu.
- Click on "Register" in the top-right corner.
- Follow the prompts to sign up as a parent and connect your account with your student’s profile.
🚨IMPORTANT NOTE:
Opt In/Opt Out
If you had selected to opt-out of having your child's PowerSchool account sync to CaliforniaColleges.edu when you filled out your child's enrollment forms, you can easily opt back in. Just email your child's school counselor:, "I give permission to have my child's PowerSchool account connect to CaliforniaColleges.edu. My child's name is (insert first and last name, include ID number).
