This week’s Staff of the Week is funny and kind. Each and every day, he strives to help students improve while playing their instrument. Every student loves to come to his class. Congratulations to our Orchestra Director, Mr. Erdmann!
Conferences- October 24th, 3:30-7:30
Conferences this year will be on October 24th from 3:30-7:30. Sign up for conferences will happen through Skyward. You will receive specific information on sign up early next week. We look forward to see you on the 24th!
Supervisory Aides Wanted
Are you or any of your friends looking for a part-time position that allows you to sleep in and get home early? We have the job for you! Silverbrook is looking for supervisory aides that assist with lunch and recess. Doesn't this sound fun and interesting? Take a look at WECAN (you can keyword search Silverbrook and filter Assistant/Aide and apply. Not only do you get to spend your time with children, you will work with outstanding Silverbrook staff and receive a sporty blaze yellow safety vest to wear while at work. We look forward to working with you!
Homecoming Parade and Football Game on Friday
The Homecoming parade will begin at 4:15 p.m. today. The parade begins at the corner of Decorah Road and Lincoln Drive W, moves east on Decorah Road, and ends in the west parking lot of the high schools building.
The West vs East varsity football game will begin at 7 p.m. at the high schools stadium. Purchase tickets ahead of time on GoFan. The charge to attend is $6 for adults, $4 for children, and seniors and students of the West Bend Schools are free. If purchasing tickets at the game, only debit and credit cards are accepted.
Badger Wrestling (6th-8th Grade)
Season Begins on Monday, November 4th at 3:30pm
Practices are 3:30-5:15pm Monday through Friday
Shuttle over to Badger using the buses

Lesson: My 10-Minute Goal
Summary: In this week’s lesson, your child will apply the full goal-setting process they learned in his unit to work toward a 10-minute goal of their choice.
Try This at Home: Ask your child about the goal-setting process they learned in this unit and why it’s important. Encourage them to set a new short-term goal that's right for them and to follow the process they learned. Check in along the way to see how it’s going.
6th Grade
Lesson: Breaking Down Your Goals
Summary: In this week’s lesson, your child will practice breaking big goals down into smaller, short-term goals.
