Reminders
- Student Progress: Please check with your child's classroom teacher if you have questions about your child's progress or additional supports for your child. You can reach out to teachers through ROOMS, email or calling the office and leaving a message on their voicemail.
- Parent Pick-up Line: Please place a sign with you student's first and last name and grade level in the passenger side window or dashboard when picking up your student at the end of the day. Mrs. Pike might not be able to call student names everyday and we want to make sure we call the correct student's name to make sure the line moves quickly.
- Dress for the Weather: Please make sure that your child has appropriate gear for outside play each day as students will be going outside for their lunch recess. Also, if your child is missing any gear, the lost and found is located in the school lobby.
- Spare Set of Clothes: Please pack a spare set of clothes in your child's backpack to have at school in the event of an accident.
- Absences: If your child is going to be absent from school, please make sure to call the office at 810-591-0604. It is important to do this each day they are out and provide a doctor's note on your child's return to school in order to excuse the absence.
- Communicating Changes to Your Student's Transportation Plan: In the event you need to change your student's transportation plan from school for the day, our AES office must have that information before 3:00 pm. No changes will be made after 3pm. This allows us to maintain a safe, accurate, speedy, and efficient dismissal.
For transportation questions, please call the Atherton Schools Transportation Department Phone Number: (810) 244-8917.

One great online tool is mathlearningcenter.org/families, which is directly tied to our Bridges program. It’s a fantastic resource that explains what your child is learning and offers helpful tips for supporting their work at home. In addition, you will be provided with links to other fun and interactive resources, such as online games and books, to help reinforce your child’s math skills.
