This weekly update includes important information about upcoming events and activities. Make sure to review the picture day dates, as well as the deadlines for registering for the Robotics Club and other exciting special events and activities happening this week.
Additionally, please note that there will be no school on Monday, September 2.

No School - Labor Day
Robotics Club- AG Campus
🏆🏆Robotics Club Registration
We are excited to announce that registration for the Robotics Club for grades 4th-8th at the AG Campus will open on August 23rd. Each team will consist of 6 students, and meetings will be held every Friday from 1:30 to 3:00 PM, starting August 30th. The cost for the season is $400, running from August 30th to December 5th.
For the past 12 years, our robotics team has proudly competed in the worldwide Robotics Competition organized by the First Lego League (FLL). This year, students will prepare for the first qualifying tournament, which will take place in early November.
Participants will engage in:
- Building and programming robots to complete missions designed by FLL.
- Researching and developing innovative solutions to global problems.
- Enhancing teamwork skills and applying Islamic core values while preparing oral presentations for the judges.

We are excited to invite all the Robotics Club families to our Robotics Season Kick-Off Building Day and Information Session, hosted by our high school junior mentors. This event will mark the start of an exciting new season, and we’re eager to begin with your participation!

What’s Happening:
- Building Day: Get hands-on with our robotics activities and help prepare our robots for the season.
- Info Session: Our high school junior mentors will provide insights and answer any questions about the upcoming season.
- Potluck: Bring a dish to share! This is a fantastic chance to connect with fellow parents and team members while enjoying some great food.

Middle and High School: County Science and Engineering Fair
Time to Sign Up for the Science Fair!
We are excited to announce that it’s time for students to sign up for the Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair! This annual event is a fantastic opportunity for middle and high school students to showcase their scientific and engineering talents. Over the past 30 years, our students have consistently impressed at the county, state, and even national levels, earning numerous awards for their innovative projects.
If your child is interested in participating, please fill out the interest list form below.
This form is important for us to gauge interest and ensure we can provide the necessary support. Only those who complete the form will receive an invitation to our upcoming information session for parents. During this session, we will cover important details about the fair, including registration, deadlines, and tips for a successful project.

We are pleased to invite you to a special Parent Information Session for the BH Science and Engineering Fair. This session will provide crucial information on the county's requirements and guidelines for participating in the fair.
During this session, we will cover:
- The county’s specific requirements and guidelines for fair participation
- Key dates and deadlines
- How to help your child prepare their project according to these guidelines
- The evaluation criteria and judging process

School Uniform Policy -Friendly Reminder
Thank you so much to the students who have adhered to the uniform policy. The link below serves as a reminder of these guidelines. All students are expected to be in their correct uniforms.
Please note: Black jackets and pants are not allowed; only plain navy is permitted, including the PE pants. If you need help finding any of the required uniform items, we are here to assist you. We can provide links to various affordable vendors.
