• Advent Prayer Service on Tuesday, 12/10, at 8:30 am
• Canned Soup & Legumes Drive next week for our St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry! Classrooms will each have a box for collecting canned goods to donate to our Parish pantry.

• Christmas Spirit Week will be tons of fun before break! Our Student Government came up with the following themes:
• Monday: A Long Winter's Nap (full out of uniform)
• Tuesday: Christmas Spirit Wear (uniform bottoms)
• Wednesday: Fa La La La La (full out of uniform)
• Thursday: Mad for Plaid (full out of uniform)
• Friday: Christmas Accessories (with full uniform)

Operetta Auditions will be Monday Dec. 9 & Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 3:30 - 5:30 PM.

THINGS TO KNOW:

• Students need to have their teacher recommendation forms and their SIGNED behavior contract turned in before they can audition.
• NO behavior contract and teacher recommendation = NO audition
• Student need to be picked up PROMPTLY at the end of their audition time.
• Students audition times have been posted in the hallways and exits of the school. They are also available on the Operetta Google Classroom.
• Cast & crew will be announced the week before Christmas break.
• Rehearsal calendar will be shared over break on Google Classroom.
• Rehearsals begin January 7th!

Our teachers and staff work very hard in educating and guiding our kids, as well as many efforts behind the curtain, which often go unnoticed or unspoken. It is once again time for us to show our appreciation to them.

The St. Cecilia Cathedral School budget does not allow for a yearly staff Christmas gift, and rather than each of us giving separately, we can pool our resources to provide a well-deserved Christmas bonus to every staff member.

ANY monetary contribution to their Christmas bonus is appreciated. All amounts and donor information will remain confidential. Teacher gifts will be from “The St. Cecilia School Families.” The support of you, our families, has been overwhelming in the past, and the teachers and staff have expressed their deep appreciation.

If you would like to contribute this year, you may send your contribution no later than Thursday, December 19th. Make checks payable to St. Cecilia’s Home and School.
