Good evening Spartans,

I hope you all had a restful weekend. This week is Movie Mayhem Spirit week. Hopefully you can join in in the fun and dress up to show your school spirit. Check out the daily themes below.

The second progress report is around the corner. Students, don't wait until the last minute to catch up. Tutoring is available before and after school, please take advantage of the help. Grades come out this Friday!

I will be hosting coffee with the principal on the day before our Progress Report 2 day. It will be a hybrid meeting but we would love to see you in person. See the flyer below; it has all the information including the Zoom meeting link.

This Friday, our football team will host the Castle Park Trojans in the regular season finale. The Spartans have an opportunity to win the first championship banner since 2006. Come out and cheer the Spartans to Victory!

Progress report grades come out this Friday, October 28. Please make sure you log in to Infinite Campus starting at 8:00am to see your PR2 grades.

Chula Vista High School's "We Mean Green" community service/environmental action club participated this weekend in the Beautify Chula Vista clean up event. Our students worked on graffiti removal and trash pick-up along Broadway in Chula Vista.

Last month the group also participated alongside "I Love a Clean San Diego" on the J Street Marina cleanup project.

Thank you to club advisor Ms. Abarroa-Basset and our students for helping to keep Chula Vista looking good!

Congratulations to our Girls Volleyball team for securing a league championship banner last week with a victory over San Ysidro. The Spartans will travel to San Marcos on Wednesday to take on High Tech High North County in the first round of the CIF playoffs.

Spartan Students we invite you to join Chula Vista High School's After School Programs! All programs are available for FREE! You can also stop by and have some fun at the Vault located in the Youth Center. The Vault has pool, air hockey, foosball, PS4, Switch, arcade games and more!!!!! **EVERYTHING IS FREE!!!!!!!**

Our morning hours will be from 7:15-8:15 AM (students will need to enter through Youth Center entrance at 465 L Street).

Our afternoon hours will be from 3:39-5:30 PM every day. We are also open during 7th/8th period for those students who are unscheduled.
